Polar Bear Gifts has two locations in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. We offer one of Alaska's largest selections of locally inspired souvenirs, gifts, apparel, and Alaska-made products.
What are your store hours?

Do you ship orders?
Yes! We ship throughout the United States. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Local pickup is available at our 5th Ave store. Simply select Local Pickup during checkout, and we'll notify you when your order is ready.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days via USPS Priority Mail.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship to addresses within the United States. We appreciate your interest and hope to expand our shipping options in the future.
Can I send a gift directly to someone?
Yes! We can ship gifts directly to your recipient.

Do you sell genuine ulu knives?
Yes. We carry traditional ulu knives designed for food preparation, chopping, and everyday kitchen use.
Can I fly with an ulu knife?
Yes! Ulu knives are permitted in checked luggage, but they are NOT allowed in carry-on bags. If you're traveling by air, be sure to pack your ulu securely in your checked baggage before heading to the airport. If you prefer not to pack it yourself, we're happy to help ship your ulu home for you.
Do you sell Alaska Native art?
We carry products inspired by Alaska Native cultures as well as authentic works from Alaska artists. Product availability varies.
Can I buy products online that I saw in the store?
Many products are available on our website. If you don't see an item online, contact us—we may still have it available.
Returns
What is your return policy?
We accept returns of unused merchandise within 7 days of purchase with the original receipt. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition with all tags attached. Some items may not be eligible for return.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the damage, and we'll help make it right.
